Fried Carrot Cake is a very popular local item. Fried Carrot Cake usually comes in two different types, black, (where they use black soya sauce) and bai(where they use light soya sauce). It is fried with delicious radish cake, eggs and garlic. It is easy to create, yet delicious at the same time. The dish was brought over from Teochew immigrants who used to cook rice cakes in their hometown.
