Rojak is an Asian salad that consists of vegetables and fruits. Rojak includes both Chinese and Malay elements in its ingredients, and exemplifies the cultural diversity here in Singapore. It can be both eaten as an appetiser or a main dish.

Some commonly used fruits and vegetables include cucumber, chinese turnips and pineapples. Even with these myriad of fresh ingredients, the quintessential part of the rojak would be the sauce. The sauce is mixed together with these fresh ingredients before being served.
