Nasi Briyani

A traditional Indian delight

Nasi biryani is a popular Indian Muslim dish of saffron rice and meat. It is sold by both Indians and Malays, and is essential at Malay weddings.

 

Biryani first came about during the Mughal Empire. The modern Briyani that we know now in Singapore has also been influenced by the local cuisine and is now a hybrid dish of both Singaporean-Indian cuisine
