The Singaporean variation serves wanton Mee with barbecued pork. There are two types of wanton Mee, dry and soup based, with the dry one being more popular among customers. The Singaporean wanton dish is comparable with the Malaysian one, with one difference being that the Singaporean version used less soy sauce but more with chili ketchup
