Satay

A delightful meat skewer

Satay is a grilled meat dish famous throughout Southeast-Asia.  The true birthplace of Satay was actually Indonesia but this dish has slowly spread to other countries like Singapore and Malaysia. 

 

To prepare Satay, meat (Chicken, Pork, Mutton, Beef) is skewered onto a wooden stick and marinated with herbs and spices. They are then grilled over charcoal and served.
